The Archstone Foundation is a private grant-making organization whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of older Californians and their caregivers. Current Foundation funding priorities include:
- Enabling older adults to remain in their homes and communities;
- Improving the treatment of late-life depression;
- Developing innovative responses to the family caregiving needs of older adults;
- Expanding the health care and broader workforce needed to care for, and serve, the rapidly growing and aging population.
Through Archstone Foundation’s Depression in Late-Life Initiative, the Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for older adults suffering from depression.
